Students may only attend a Skills Lab for which they are officially registered. Once a student registers for a lab, they will be prompted to confirm their intent to attend within 7 days of the scheduled lab. Failure to confirm may result in removal from the roster.

Students may register for a Skills Lab up until 11:59 PM the night before the scheduled session. After this time, the roster will be considered final, and no further additions will be accepted.

Students may register for Skills Labs that are required within their projected scope of practice. Skills Labs must be completed in sequence as determined by each program’s requirements. Students are only permitted to attend a Skills Lab once they have met all institutional prerequisites for that specific lab.

Prior to attending their initial Skills Lab, students are required to provide the institution with an appropriate photo for their student ID badge.

Students have the opportunity to reschedule their Skills Labs at their convenience. However, any time a student cancels a lab to register for another, there is a risk that the desired session may no longer be available. This is due to the continuous and self-service nature of the registration system, where other students may be registering for the same session simultaneously. In the event this occurs, the student will not be able to schedule themselves back into the original lab if it has reached maximum capacity.

The institution maintains a maximum capacity limit for each Skills Lab to ensure a positive learning environment and an appropriate faculty workload.
