Axon Education’s Record Keeping Policy is designed in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Axon Education requires that all documents described herein, regardless of physical characteristics, or electronic mode of storage, be maintained for a designated period of time and disposed of with reasonable care. All company records must be maintained for a minimum of three (3) years after the end of the institution’s most recent fiscal year during which the students were last enrolled, unless explicitly designated otherwise in the Document Retention Schedule.
Document duplicates, drafts, errors, memorandums, reports extracted from other data, and communication of a routine nature that are not legally required to be retained are excluded from adherence to the Document Retention Schedule.
Documents may be saved in compliance of this policy either electronically or physically according to institutional needs. Note specifically that email data retention is guided by the nature and subject of the communication in the same way as other forms of data.
