Each Axon course has a Minimum Activity Policy (MAP) articulated in the course syllabus.
If a MAP is not explicitly articulated in the syllabus for a particular course, students are subject to the institutional MAP. The institutional Minimum Activity Policy is that students must submit at least seven (7) Academic Activities each week. Minimum activity is evaluated each Monday for the preceding seven days.
Academic Activities include reading, audio reviews, pre-tests, post-tests, chapter tests, module exams, adaptive tests, participation in a tutoring session, etc. Students attending clinical experiences, field experiences and Skills Lab during a particular activity period are exempt from MAP quotas for that activity period.
Administrative Withdrawal (WA) Due to Minimum Activity Policy Breach:
A student may be Administratively Removed from a course prior to the end of the Instructional Period, or prior to the end of the Maximum Course Duration, based on violations of the Minimum Activity Policy.
Students who have received three (3) or more notices of violation of the Minimum Activity Policy may be immediately Administratively Removed from a course without regard to all other factors.
Students who have exceeded 30 days without logging into the learning system and have received at least one (1) notice of violation of the Minimum Activity Policy may be Administratively Removed from the course without regard to all other factors.
