Company property must be used in the manner for which it was intended. Upon termination, employees are required to surrender any company property they possess.
Company computers, internet and emails are a privileged resource, and must be used only to complete essential job-related functions. Employees are not permitted to download any “pirated” software, files or programs. Files or programs stored on company computers may not be copied for personal use.
Employees are reminded that they should have no expectation of privacy in their use of company computers or other electronic equipment.
All work which results in the creation of curriculum, media, promotional materials, etc., or any effort that results in the partial or complete generation of a product, is considered work for hire. As a result, Axon maintains any and all intellectual property rights unless a specific written mutually signed contract exists between Axon and the employee or contractor which covers a specific circumstance.
Similarly, plagiarism will not be accepted in any form in the fulfillment of the duties of employees or contractors. Team members should carefully and overtly attribute any portions of work that is derivative.
